Pero wala pa ring money! hehehe.
This 2010, I am trying my best to organize my schedule for the year.
I even marked important dates on my calendar. You can try this also, and I hope you can stick to it. What I did, I got a calendar with big spaces for each day of the month(I used the calendar giveaway from Mercury which my mom gave me) and cut the lower portions. This year the calendar has pictures of trees on the cover and on the lower portions of each page for each month, together with the discount coupons. So, here I am.. trying to be really systematic about it---
1.I encircled the dates which are fun days!!!These are Family Field Trip or Family Bonding Events:)
2.I boxed the dates which are reserved for work-related events. These include trainings, seminars which can enrich my mind as well.
3.I marked with stars the dates which are very important/urgent like health stuff(check-ups,doctor appointments)
4. My daughter suggested to mark with triangles those dates reserved for birthdays. Nice idea! I just hope we won't be talking about trapezoid or hexagon markings next time:))
Side note: Danielle also has a diary that I told her to religiously update(Hey Karen, that diary is the gift you gave her! Thanks:) ). She also has a notebook where she pasted the Christmas tags she received last Dec 2009. She is the sentimental type I guess. So about the pictures of the trees from the calendar, she also pasted them. LOL. I told her to do that because when she becomes a grandma someday, her grandchildren may not know such trees existed before. I even told her that she might profit from it by selling these pictures to those who wouldn't know what trees look like,so to speak.
In planning your sked for the year, you must be goal oriented.
This year, I will try to strengthen my relationship with the Lord and my family. I will also enrich my mind:)
...and okay!!!!The ever present new year resolution...is to work on my body!
These are the recent things I have done:
1. I dont want to miss a Sunday Mass this year,so I went to the nearest chapel and got the sked of Sunday Mass from the janitor. This chapel is just a block away but i have not yet attended Mass in it. I think it is just normal for us to just relax and be passive of things that are usually "there". So sad, that a few blocks also from us was the Doll Museum of Marikina. Due to the recent Ondoy (Sept 26, 2009)..it seemed those dolls were ruined. I regret not going there..thinking..it is just there.
2. I went to the municipal hall and got the important dates for realty tax payment, got my cedula and other useful info I can gather... There is a free surgery clinic and operation just inquire at the Marikina Health Office along Shoe Avenue. There is also a 50% discount on the realty tax until June 30 for lumpsum payments.
3.I went to youtube on how to cook, bake or make stuff. Then, I went to sites which offer trainings or seminars. Take a look at this: Philippine Trade Training Center
http://www.pttc.gov.ph/ You may download their sked for the 1st quarter of this year.
So for starters, I boxed the dates with trainings my husband and I would like to attend at PTTC. I only chose the P100.hehe
Next time I will take advantage of the training sessions offerred here at Marikina:)
4. As for our first Family Fun Day, we went to the Manila Zoo! This is our Fun Day for January. I will write on it soon:)
Our next goal is the PASINAYA 2010 Festival:The CCP Open House Festival this February. I am already looking forward to doing this!!!

You may think of ways how you can achieve your goal of getting focus on your sked, i.e how to get things done. You may use Stick Ons, Post its, highlighters or whatever that works for you.
So, let us welcome 2010...each day!:)
LOL.
I do hope so!
See yah!
